Petrochemistry

Petrochemistry is one the focus areas of Gazprom neftekhim Salavat. 

The Company’s petrochemical sector comprises the Monomer Plant with its ethylene/propylene facilities, plastics manufacture units and alcohols and plasticizers production.

Our major petchem products are ethylene, propylene, pentane isoprencyclopentadiene fraction, butane butadiene fraction, heavy hydrocarbon resin, styrene, GP & HI polystyrenes, HDPE, LDPE, industrial n-butyl alcohol, industrial isobutyl alcohol, 2-ethylhexanol and DOP plasticizer. 

According to its corporate strategy, the Company adds value to its petrochemical sector by expanding its production range, increasing production and diminishing operating costs. It is planned to increase the HDPE capacity (suspension HDPE under LyondellBasell license) from 120 tsd t/y to 200 tsd t/y and the pyrolysis EP-300 Unit capacity up to 380 tsd t/y.

In perspective, the Company considers development of low-tonnage production in its would-be industrial park.
