Oil Refining

The Oil Refinery of Gazprom neftekhim Salavat is the main link in the Company’s production chain.

The Company is capable of processing up to 10 million tons of crude hydrocarbons annually. The list of major processes of the Company’s Oil Refinery comprises oil desalting and dehydration, primary processing of oil and stable gas condensate, catalytic cracking, catalytic reforming, diesel fuel hydrotreatment, aromatics production, and etc.

The Company produces motor gasoline, including Euro-4 compliant gasoline, diesel engine fuel, furnace fuel oil, toluene, petroleum asphalt, technical sulphur, and other products in demand.

Taking into account the annually increasing number of vehicles and the resulting higher demand for fuel, the Company has developed a strategy of motor gasoline sales through a retail chain of gas stations.

In accordance with the stringent requirements for motor gasoline regarding the content of sulphur, benzene, aromatics and olefins, Gazprom neftekhim Salavat accelerates the production modernization aimed at improving the quality of gasoline and diesel fuel, independently monitors all fluctuations in the petrochemicals market and follows the new technical regulations.

In compliance with the Quality Policy adopted by Gazprom neftekhim Salavat, the Oil Refinery:

• provides effective operation and constant updating of Quality Management System;
• regards Customers’ demands as the basis of its activity;
• seeks to expand sales market, also by means of new products release;
• guarantees the product quality and its compliance with standards at all life-cycle stages;
• modernizes production processes and develops new products;
• uses process approach in activity and resources management;
• builds relationship with suppliers on the basis of mutual understanding and cooperation;
• makes decisions based on data analysis and objective and true information;
• provides systematic advanced training and upgrades skills of its personnel;
• motivates personnel in order to provide, control and improve work quality;
• allocates necessary resources for the performance and continuous improvement of product quality management system. 

The quality of petroleum derivatives has been recognized at top level. BND 60/90 road bitumen has won a diploma of the “Best 100 Russian Goods 2010” Program.   

Following the results of the closing stage of the “All-Russian brand (the 3^rd millennium).Quality mark of the 21^st century” competition for 2009/2010, the following Company products have been awarded a platinum token:

• petroleumfueloil;
• road bitumen feedstock;
• petroleumtoluene;
• diesel fuel L-0,2-62; Z-0,2, minus 35;
• motor gasolines Normal-80, Regular-92, Premium-95; EURO-4 compliant gasolines Regular Euro-92/4, Premium Euro-95/4;
• road bitumen BND 60/90, BND 90/130;
• construction bitumen BN 70/30, BN 90/10.

According to the results of 2009/2010, gas condensate distillate has been awarded a gold token of the “All-Russian brand (the 3^rd millennium).Quality mark of the 21^st century” competition. 

Today, Gazprom neftekhim Salavat oil products are supplied to 69 regions of the Russian Federation, the countries of the Former Soviet Union and beyond, including Kazakhstan, Kirghizia, Tajikistan, Hungary, Latvia, the Netherlands, Finland, Italy, Turkey, and etc.
